The Crazy Little Spring Called Love anthology began as a collaborative effort between eight authors and has since turned into a regular event published by Stars and Stone Books.
As a writer who is juggling responsibilities that can be daunting at times, I found that my need to be productive as an author has been best met by participating in releases of shorter works. That's not to say I'm giving up on the longer novels. However, I have to be realistic in my goals, which means for now the snippets of my day that are available to write seem more rewarding when I can actually launch a story into publication sooner than later.
And, what better way than to join forces with other authors interested in doing the same thing?
It's been fun.
It means more great stories for readers!
So, if you're like me and time to do it ALL is a problem, then creating moments to read and re-charge yourself can be a struggle. That's where novellas and short story collections can come into play.
Go short! They're also perfect for those summer trips!
This way you don't have to feel deprived of an ending when life interrupts you. Most of these stories can be completed in a relatively short span of time, and you can come back to the next one when you can fit it into your routine.
That's why I got into novellas and anthologies. I can write in manageable chunks and read that way as well.
In case you hadn't thought of reading this way, I wanted to share my view of it.
Now you can take advantage of a chance to read these EIGHT fantasy romance stories at your leisure by entering my Amazon Giveaway!
My story, "The Girl With a Broken Wing," is part of this collection! Check it out!
And don't think I haven't been busy producing more for my readers. Our second anthology collection, with 12 fantastic authors, has just been released on August 1st!
This time we did a series of science fiction romance stories!
You can get a copy of Love Across the Universe and start in on another fabulous collection!
Let me know what you think of my story, "Red Sand," that's part of the second anthology. I love hearing from my readers. Also, authors value constructive feedback, so if you enjoy the books you read consider leaving a review where you purchased it.
I hope you're enjoying your summer!
Make time for yourself. Pick up a book. Take pleasure in the little indulgences of life!
